We received the results of the Syscom character design competition. It was a close battle. The competition ended up being between myself and my classmate Sandy. David Ecton from Syscom Technologies said that there were endless office debates about whose character illustration would best serve Syscom's needs. In the final outcome, Sandy won the grand prize and was awarded the freelance project. Being the runner up, I received a 500 dollar award and was offered a coveted internship position with Syscom. I'm currently working with David in beefing up Syscom's digital media marketing strategy. It's turning out to be a very enjoyable workplace experience.
