I recently attended a funeral for a second cousin. It was quite the sad affair. I felt sort of useless with all the funeral happenings, I just couldn't figure out a way to help the family out...so I sketched two scenes from the funeral for the family. While I sketched the casket, another relative relayed to me that the family had wanted photographs of the chapel but that the lighting was causing the photos to come out wonky...so my drawing was the most best representation of the space that we were able to get. I just hope that it helps in the healing. I know for me, it helped with the grieving process.
