Musical Inspiration: Soundtracks and Broadway Musicals
I love to listen to dramatic, high energy music when I'm working on art. I can't really work to music unless it has some sort of narrative attached to it. Movie soundtracks and Broadway musicals are pretty much all I listen to these days. They get my visual juices stirring. Just listening to the radio or a random rock station doesn't cut it for me. Give me something composed by Hans Zimmer and I'll work from dawn to dusk. Give me Lady GaGa and I'll pull my hair out and be frazzled all day long.
